Navy League

The Navy League Branch

The Navy League of Canada is a volunteer organization that works in partnership with the Department of National Defence (DND) to deliver the sea cadet programme. The Navy League provides funding in areas that DND does not such as musical instruments, the Annual Ceremonial Review, and recreational activities like the Christmas Mess Dinner and the spring Awards Banquet. The Navy League's involvement is critical to our varied and interesting programme.

The Navy League co-ordinates fundraising activities from time to time throughout the year with assistance from our cadets. Most Navy League members are parents of cadets who have seen the great benefits that the cadet programme provides to their sons and daughters at no cost and who wish to give some of their time in return. An active Navy League branch is important for the success of our unit, and parents are invited to consider volunteering some of their time to assist.
